Long term part time Temp Accounting Associate until March 2027 possibility conversion to perm after 2027

Location: Woburn, MA (On-Site) 3 days a week on site Woburn, Ma (24 hours)

Pay up to $29/hour

Summary

Our client in Woburn, Ma is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-service-focused Part-Time Accounting Associate. Under general supervision, this role will support tasks within the Finance Department, along with additional administrative duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable

  • Follow up on overdue payments by contacting customers, requesting payment, and resolving billing issues.
  • Reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Perform data entry and maintain customer records and files.

General Support

  • Provide back-up support for clerical positions within the finance department and assume responsibilities during absences.
  • Assist with various accounting tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Integrity and discretion when working with sensitive financial data.
  • Strong communication skills and sound judgment.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional business and client relationships.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to identify errors.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Located in the Boston area.
  • High level of execution and accountability.
  • Open-minded and willing to take on new challenges.
